Your customer will expect to get his prints back from you with no variation to the colors he has himself seen appearing on his monitor or printer. Your customer will be particularly critical in evaluating logo colors (e.g. Pantone colors).

Reason

Each output device reproduces the same file in a different way. Only in very rare cases will the output colors correspond to the original colors or to the colors of the image displayed on the screen.

Without any Color Management the desired result can only be achieved by trial exposures.

Solution

Color Management based on ICC profiles (International Color Consortium), a worldwide standard which has the support of all software and hardware producers. By means of such profiles, among other things, reliable images or soft proofs of any output equipment are displayed on the monitor.
